As our 2015/2016 sponsorship with the Flyers F.C draws to a close, Clarke Facades leading Facade specialists in the UK and Ireland reflect on the remarkable season the boys had!
Since its humble beginnings in 1996, Clarke Facades has always placed CSR at the heart of their business operations. This year however, the company has extended their sponsorship efforts by sponsoring the Flyers Under 13 Football Team; fostering their support for the communities within which they work.
Formed in 2007 with just 25 children, Flyers F.C has expanded and now has over 300 children playing and training regularly within its teams. In 2012 the Club was awarded the Essex County FA “Charter Standard Club of the Year ” award and has also won this award for the whole South East region.
The Flyers F.C has had a close relationship with many of the owners, directors and employees from Clarke Facades for many years – playing, supporting and now, sponsoring.
Reflecting on what was a triumphant year, the Under 13 boys finished the 2015/2016 season by winning the league; a fitting end to a great sponsorship period with the Football Club.
Mark Wiggins, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Clarke Facades commented: “We are very proud to be able to sponsor such a well-recognized football club. As an organisation we place CSR at the forefront of our business operations and we are committed to supporting and engaging with the communities within which we work. Our sponsorship with the Flyers F.C shows the positive contribution we make to our local community”.
The support of Clarke Facades was welcomed by the Under 13 Flyers F.C Football Manager, Jamie Trew who commented: “We have had a close and successful business relationship with Clarke Facades for many years and I am delighted that they have extended this relationship by sponsoring the football club. We had a great season and we are thrilled that we were able to finish our sponsorship with Clarke Facades as Under 13 League Champions. We would like to thank Clarke Facades for their continued support throughout the year and supplying our boys with new football tops”.
