Following our recent announcement of securing the prestigious Westminster Quarter London project, building envelope work is now continuing apace on the new 7/8-storey building, and one 5-storey building which will provide a total of 102 residential units above a 340m2 commercial floor space at ground floor level on Monck Street.
Working alongside main contractor Mc Aleer and Rushe for client Taylor Wimpey on this eminently lucrative project, the new development which is expected to completed in February 2017, will allow residents to benefit from 24hr concierge service, an exclusive gym, and landscaped courtyard.
Clarke Facades are installing SFS along with a bronze effect cladding system which will blend in nicely to the surrounding area giving the building a striking finish in what is just a stone’s throw away from the Houses of Parliament.
The latest site images show that precast façade install has commenced to Blocks A & B with Metsec works also commenced to winter garden areas. Internal fit out has continued to Block A with 1st fix currently at 6th floor. Courtyard & roof garden works are to commence within the next couple of weeks.
