At Clarke Facades, we take a very pro-active approach to Health & Safety. It is our commitment to this very important aspect of the business that has underpinned our success and continues to be an increasingly integral part of our professional image.

Clarke Facades recognises that healthy and safe working conditions
and practices are vital to achieving business excellence.

We work closely with the client to be set the highest standard on their sites. We take into account, at tender stage, all resources and facilities required to minimize injury and adhere to our Health & Safety Policy.

A brief synopsis of our H&S routine procedures are as follows:

  • Safety & working practice Induction of new personnel
  • Daily informal and formal weekly site inspections and reports by contracts management
  • Weekly Tool Box talks
  • Accident Reporting
  • Method Statement & Risk Assessments detailed for each work item, submitted, and signed off.
  • Issuance record for all PPE

 

CSR/ CSCS/ Safepass

It is company policy that all operatives must carry the above safety pass. ‘No card, no wages’.

Health & Safety Policy Statement

It is the policy of Clarke Facades to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all employees, visitors, contractors and others in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order 1978 and other statutory requirements and codes of practice.

It is the Company’s intention to conduct its business in a way that presents no risk of injury or ill health to its employees; giving rise to no damage to its plant, equipment, materials or any other property as a result of accidents, fires or dangerous occurrences.

The success of this policy requires the involvement and commitment of everybody in the company, and strict compliance with Clarke Facades Safety Management System. Commitment from the management of the Company is of paramount importance and specific duties are delegated to them to ensure the implementation and maintenance of health and safety controls and procedures.

Clarke Facades will set objectives and targets, and measure and monitor their achievement through regular inspections, audits and the thorough investigation of accidents and incidents. However, the commitment and co-operation of all personnel in the Company are essential if high standards of health and safety are to be ensured.

Every employee of Clarke Facades has been distributed with the company Health and Safety Policy and have a legal obligation to co-operate in the day-to-day implementation of it. They must take reasonable care for their own health and safety and the safety of other people who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
