We are delighted to announce we will be working alongside main contractors, Bouygues UK, on a residential development in London’s SW1 at the location of the Ebury Bridge Centre, an educational facility, which will be leased on to the Sir Simon Milton Westminster University Technical College.
The new contract maximises the full range of services offered by Clarke Facades, with the company installing a bespoke facade system which will include; Corium Brick Cladding, Trespa Rainscreen panels and SFS along with Flashings and Cappings.
The brick-clad building will provide space for 550 pupils aged between 14-18, housing a facility with a specialism in engineering sponsored by the University of Westminster and Network Rail. The glazed double-height entrance to the college is the public face of the facility and leads into an internal atrium which creates a feeling of openness and generosity of space.
Work on site, which is being carried out by main contractor Bouygues UK, has already begun. The University Technical College will open in September 2017, while the residential tower is set to complete in 2018.
Mark Wiggins, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Clarke Facades stated that “We are looking forward to working with Bouygues on another exciting project which will enhance the lives of many young people and also showcases a full range of services that we offer. The project has a tight timescale and therefore demands efficiency and effectively to ensure the quality is maintained throughout, which is something we thrive upon.”
