Building envelope work has begun on Oxford Brookes University. Over the next 10 years’ substantial plans and work has been projected to update and enhance the Universities facilities through the Clerici Redevelopment Project. Clarke Facades will be working alongside main contractor McLaughlin & Harvey.
The contract gives Clarke Facades the opportunity to utilize a range of services through deliverance of the building envelope package. The project is set in an adaptable space, which will be fully utilized as a multi-functional building in the University.
The project which saw the demolition of the original Clerici Building has saw the site altered extensively and is set to be home to the University’s Faculty of Business, which will include a collaborative lecture theatre, 30 teaching rooms and a series of social learning spaces. The space is set to have a large car park and planting garden.
