Clarke Facades shortlisted at the London Construction Awards 2016!

Clarke Facades are on another winning streak; having recently been awarded Best Full-service Building Company in the BUILD Architecture Awards 2016, Clarke Facades has been shortlisted for `Regeneration Project of the Year` award in the prestigious London Construction Awards 2016 following their impressive work at the Premier Inn Archway in London.

Returning for a second year, the London Construction Awards celebrates the best that London has to offer and is an opportunity for any company or individual to cement their reputation as a purveyor of excellence. The awards recognise achievements by those that have played a defining role in delivering exceptional quality, innovation and service; and in driving the London construction industry forwards.

Clarke Facades have certainly made quite an impression already with the judges with their eye-catching Façade works at Premier Inn, Archway in North London. For the project, Clarke Facades installed around 3,000,m2 of Sto Ventec glass rain screen panels. The building envelope now features a range of panels in various shades of blue which counterbalances the other buildings within the refurbishment.

Mark Wiggins, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Clarke Facades commented: “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for the `Regeneration Project of the Year` in the prestigious London Construction Awards. This project was a big ask for our company from a planning, design and operations viewpoint, however, the somewhat drab monolith that was once Hamlyn House has now been completely transformed from an eyesore to a vibrant contribution to the Archway regeneration. Credit has to go to all parties involved in the project from start to finish and we look forward to continuing our close relations with H&J Martin (Lagan Group)”.

Eugene Clarke, Managing Director at Clarke Facades added: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this reputable award and for our work to be acknowledged at Premier, Inn Archway in London. I wish every company who have been shortlisted within this category the best of luck and I look forward to meeting everyone at the awards evening in October at The Royal Garden Hotel, London”.
