Clarke Facades `brew up` a whopping £950.00 for Charity Partner, TinyLife.

Having recently announced TinyLife as their Charity Partner for 2016/2017, the Clarke Façade team kick-started their fundraising activities on Monday 19th September by hosting a coffee morning in their head offices in Portglenone. The coffee morning was attended by many local businesses such as; Plotbox, OB Construction, Gibson Paving and Black Advertising, with a special visit from Audrey Wales, MBE Mayor of Mid & East Antrim Borough.

Mark Wiggins, Business Development and Marketing Manager at Clarke Facades commented, “I am delighted that we have been able to raise a mammoth £950.00 for our Charity Partner Tinylife, the coffee morning was a great success and we are delighted that local businesses from the area and the Mayor were able to attend and show their support”.

Mayor of Mid & East Antrim Borough, Councillor Audrey Wales MBE, commented, “I was delighted to attend Clarke Facades’ coffee morning and support a local business in their charity fundraising efforts. As a small charity, and the only one of its kind dedicated to helping premature and sick babies, every penny really does make a difference to the lives of babies and their families in Mid & East Antrim. I commend Clarke Facades for their fantastic fundraising efforts and an excellent coffee morning in Portglenone, which has seen them well on their way to achieving their fundraising target of £10,000.”

Gillian Breen, Community Fundraiser at TinyLife added “TinyLife, Northern Irelands premature baby charity, provides emotional and practical support to the families of premature and sick babies across Northern Ireland. Every day in NI 6 babies are born too soon some arriving as early as 24weeks and weighing as little as 1lb. As a small charity we rely heavily on the support we receive from local people and are delighted to be the charity partner of Clarke Facades this year. We would like to pass on our sincere thanks for their fantastic donation of £950.00 raised from their recent coffee morning”.

This is the first of many fundraising events which Clarke Facades will be organising throughout the year to reach their desired target of £10,000, the money raised through the partnership will help TinyLife continue to deliver their Family Support Services locally.
