Building envelope work is progressing nicely at Weybridge Business Park, Surrey where Clarke Facades is working alongside main contractor Mc Laughlin and Harvey for client Standard Life Investments to deliver the full building envelope.
Working alongside award-winning architects; Scott Brownrigg Architects, the project is set to deliver a contemporary refurbishment and complete re-clad design with part demolition of Units 4 & 5 and a full demolition and re-construction of Unit 9.
The contract maximises the full range of services offered by Clarke Facades with the company undertaking the complex cladding and render system stipulated by the client and architect.
Paddy O’Neill, Project Manager at Clarke Facades commented: “We are delighted to continue our strong working relationship with Mc Laughlin and Harvey by securing Weybridge Business Park. Building envelope works are now continuing apace on site, with the project currently on track to be completed in March 2017”.
Weybridge Business Park is situated to the west of Weybridge town centre and to the south of the A317 dual carriageway, which provides the main access to Weybridge from both the west and the east. Weybridge further benefits from excellent proximity to London Heathrow Airport, located approximately 8 miles to the north.
Clarke Facades are now on site, joining main contractor Mc Laughlin and Harvey who commenced work at the start of the year.
The new contract for Clarke Facades is the latest high-profile project to be undertaken by the company in the UK, with work progressing well on The Curtain Club and Private Members Club, Westminster Quarter and Queen Mary University.
